VISION TUNGSTEN SPIKES

MAXIMUM GRIP ON WET AND SLIPPERY SURFACES

TUNGSTEN SPIKES from Vision Fly Fishing are an essential upgrade for your wading boots when you're in challenging waters. These spikes are specially designed to give you optimal grip on wet, slick and overgrown surfaces, thus increasing your safety on the water. Whether you're moving over slippery stones on the riverbank or wading in deep water approaching step by step, the tungsten spikes provide a secure footing and minimise the risk of slipping. This not only gives you a better feeling with every step, but also significantly reduces the risk of accidents and injuries.

HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS

These spikes are made of a super-hard tungsten core and feature a unique crown design with four points. This shape maximises grip on a variety of surfaces while providing high durability. The material is extremely abrasion-resistant and can withstand even the most intense wear and tear, so you can rely on your equipment.

EASY TO FIT – CLEVERLY PLACED

The studs are quick and easy to install using the included tool. To get the best traction, Vision recommends placing the studs at the perimeter of the boot sole. This leaves the central area free so that the outsole of your wading boot continues to have direct contact with the ground and provides additional stability. This arrangement optimises grip on any surface and ensures a secure footing without compromising the advantages of a flexible sole.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON ASSEMBLY

To ensure that the spikes are securely attached, the midsole of your wading boot should be at least 13 mm thick. Otherwise, there is a risk that the spikes could penetrate the sole and damage the neoprene sock of your waders. Therefore, make sure to only use the spikes with suitable wading boots.

Each package contains 20 pieces of TUNGSTEN SPIKES, which are sufficient for a pair of wading boots, as well as the practical tool for quickly and easily screwing the spikes into the sole.

NOTE the midsole must be minimum of 13mm thick; otherwise, the tip can puncture your wader’s sock.
