The tarpon is a fish that lives in the coastal areas of the Atlantic Ocean, in America. It is a fish much appreciated and sought after, especially by fly fishermen given the large size it can reach. The fights with this fish are very adrenalinic and violent and must be used appropriate fly fishing rods. The largest adult fish can reach 2.5 metres in length and 150 kg in weight.
