The chernobyl ants are certainly among the most famous and used terrestrial. They are very floating and generously sized artificial foam flies that usually imitate large grasshoppers. The colors used are quite bright which makes them very visible in the water, greatly facilitating fishing action. Even if the fish is not feeding on the surface, fishing with these artificial flies could entice it to come out from under the stones so as not to miss a big easy meal.
