AIRFLO POLYLEADER SALMON/STEELHEAD 10 FT

PRESENT YOUR FLY AT ANY DEPTH

Polyleaders are an excellent way to flexibly adapt your fly setup to different depths and conditions – without adding extra weight to the fly. They improve turnover, enable precise casts, and ensure a controlled sink rate. This allows you to present your fly exactly where the fish are holding. Particularly practical: with a Polyleader, you can quickly and easily react to changing currents, water depths, or wind conditions without needing to change your fly line. Whether you're fishing in rivers, lakes, or along the coast – Polyleaders offer maximum versatility and significantly contribute to maintaining a natural and convincing presentation.

PERFECT NOT ONLY FOR TWO-HAND ANGLERS

The 10 ft (305 cm) long POLYLEADER SALMON/STEELHEAD from Airflo is the first choice for all fly fishers targeting anadromous large salmonids with a two-handed rod. These leaders not only create a perfect transition from the fly line to the leader but also provide the ideal anchor point for many two-handed casting techniques. Additionally, they allow you to present your flies effectively at any desired depth in large, deep, and fast-flowing waters. Beyond salmon fishing, these Polyleaders are also ideal for stillwater fly fishing: they pair perfectly with specialized higher line class fly lines used for lakes and ponds. The higher breaking strength also ensures that you stay in control even when targeting larger and stronger fish, helping you avoid unpleasant surprises during the fight.

All Airflo Salmon/Steelhead Polyleaders feature a breaking strength of up to 24 lbs (10.9 kg) and come with a welded loop for easy attachment. The various available sink rates allow for flexible adaptation to different current conditions and water depths.
