The imitation of caterpillar is both easy to tier and effective during fishing action. Here, too, there are many variations of this artificial fly, but the basic ones are a foam strip fixed on a hook and a hackles wrapped as a "palmer". The foam used in combination with the hackles make this artificial fly extremely floating.
