Our PEACOCK QUILLS HAND STRIPPED are a natural fly-tying material of the best quality, made in Europe. The strips are available in a wide range of colours and suitable for making nymph bodies, emergers and even dry flies. It excellently imitates the classic body ribbing of insects.

ROUND SILI LEGS from hotfly are very elastic and rounded strips used to tie streamers and nymphs. They are generally left protruding from the artificial to create thickness and movement.  This type of sili leg is made up of 10 monochrome colours and the 40 strips are all linked together but can easily be separated with the fingers. This fly tying material is quite robust, and holds up very well even after several bites from the fish.

BARRED SILI LEGS from hotfly are very elastic silicone strips with a square profile. The continuity of their colour is broken up by bars which can be black or transparent. This fly tying material for artificial flies is mainly used to tie streamers and all these silicone strips have a very catching movement in the water. With BARRED SILI LEGS you can add thickness to your lure without compromising the effectiveness of the bite, because when the fish bites, the sili legs bend, leaving the hook free to do its work. The strength of this material is excellent and you will not run the risk of the various strips being cut after catching several fish. Each pack contains 66 strips.

The TAPERED SYNTHETIC QUILL from hotfly makes tying fly bodies easier in many ways. You can tie it in better on the narrower side, the conical shape makes the abdomen more realistic and the self-adhesive strips make the precise winding of the quill strips much easier and more comfortable for you.
