WHITE RED PREMIUM PREDATOR

A LIVELY, DYNAMIC PROFILE FOR PIKE FLY FISHING

The WHITE RED PREMIUM PREDATOR is a 13–15 cm pike streamer, entirely hand-tied in Italy and designed to combine plenty of movement with a highly realistic appearance. Its natural profile and attention to detail make it particularly effective on waters with heavy fishing pressure, where pike have already seen their fair share of artificial lures and can become increasingly wary. In these situations, a convincing baitfish imitation can make all the difference when it comes to tempting even the most cautious predators.

SEXY SALTWATER HAIR – VOLUME WITHOUT A BULKY BODY

The WHITE RED PREMIUM PREDATOR is tied with hotfly SEXY SALTWATER HAIR. This durable Angel Hair has a slightly crimped texture that gives the fibres plenty of natural movement and makes it particularly well suited to tying larger streamers. In the water, the fibres spread out to create a full yet semi-transparent profile. This gives the streamer plenty of presence without creating a stiff or bulky body. During strips, changes of pace and short pauses, the material really comes to life, keeping the outline of the streamer constantly in motion.

WHITE RED – A CLASSIC HIGH-CONTRAST COLOUR COMBINATION

The colour scheme of the WHITE RED model draws on a classic and proven combination for pike lures, using bold, clearly contrasting colours. The head area is finished in a bright white, while the rest of the body features an intense red that gives the streamer a bold, aggressive appearance. The sharp transition between white and red creates a strong visual presence, further enhanced by the black vertical bars along the flanks, which are applied directly to the material using an airbrush. The result is a highly visible and instantly recognisable colour scheme in which white, red and black work together to create strong contrasts and make the streamer stand out clearly in the water.

3D EYES WITH AN ADDITIONAL UV COATING

The applied eyes are an important detail, creating a clearly defined focal point around the head and further enhancing the streamer's lifelike appearance. To help them withstand the stresses of casting, fishing and contact with fish, the eyes are not simply glued in place but are also covered with an additional layer of UV adhesive. This provides extra protection and securely integrates them into the head of the streamer.

PREDATOR WIDE GAP #6/0 – PLENTY OF GAPE BETWEEN THE BODY AND HOOK POINT

The WHITE RED PREMIUM PREDATOR is tied on a hotfly PREDATOR WIDE GAP in size #6/0. Its generous gape leaves plenty of clearance between the material and the hook point, even with a voluminous streamer. The entire fly is tied on a single hook, eliminating the need for an additional rear hook connection. The result is a simple, straightforward construction in which the materials, hook and overall profile form one compact unit.

13–15 CM: SUBSTANTIAL YET VERSATILE

With an overall length of approximately 13–15 cm, the WHITE RED PREMIUM PREDATOR has enough volume to create a clearly defined profile while remaining more compact than oversized pike streamers. But its effectiveness is about more than length alone: thanks to the mobility of the SEXY SALTWATER HAIR, the streamer continually changes its profile and looks far more alive in the water than its dimensions alone might suggest. This makes it a versatile choice for pike fly fishing whenever you want a clearly visible baitfish profile combined with plenty of movement from the materials.
