STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM

THE RIGHT LEADER MATERIAL ALWAYS AT HAND

The LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM makes it much easier for you to handle several leader spools. This handy complete system for 3 or 5 leader spools not only offers you a clever solution for the organised and clear storage of your leader materials. Each cutter ring that gets mounted on the individual leader spools is equipped with a stainless steel blade with a titanium nitride coating, so that you can quickly and cleanly cut the line after pulling off the desired length, without having to search for scissors or line clippers. It even works easily with one hand. The quality blades from Solingen remain sharp for a long time and enable an easy and smooth cut, even with strong leader material up to 0.40 mm in diameter as well as with braided fishing lines.

SMART FEATURES FOR SUPER EASY HANDLING

The integrated clamping device ensures that the line ends do not stick out and get tangled or slip back into the spool. In this way they are always ready to hand when you need a new piece of leader material.

The metal sleeve of the line outlet is made of hard brass to protect the line from damage when it is pulled through and also ensures that the spool turns smoothly and without jerking.

A leaf spring on the inside of the cutter ring slows the spool down when line is pulled out, ensuring that the line is only released in the desired length when needed. This effectively prevents uncontrolled over-spooling and the formation of a line wig.

The STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM keeps your leader material well protected, because the mounted cutter rings reliably cover the spools and prevent harmful UV radiation from attacking your fluorocarbon or nylon material. This way, the lines do not become brittle but remain beautifully supple and retain the breaking strain values specified by the manufacturer. This will save you from unpleasant surprises, such as knots breaking as you pull the lines when tying them, or, even worse, losing a nice fish during the fight.

Thanks to the included coloured stickers, which you can individually label, it is also a breeze to find the right line right away, making changing the leader even faster, easier and therefore more efficient.

With the Short Strap, a fabric strap with a snap, with is included as well, you can easily hang your STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM on your fly vest, bag or lanyard. This way, you always have all the necessary leader spools at hand without having to rummage through the countless pockets of your equipment.

AVAILABLE IN TWO SIZES

The STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM is available in two versions with space for 3 and 5 spools.

The STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM is exclusively compatible with Stroft leader spools. For example, all 25m Stroft GTM leader spools up to a line diameter of 0.350 mm fit, while due to capacity reasons all 50m Stroft GTM leader spools up to a line diameter of 0.250 mm are compatible with this system.

Both versions have a diameter of 61 mm, while the height varies depending on the number of spools: 31 mm for the 3-spool set and 48 mm for the 5-spool set.

We also offer the corresponding spare parts for both versions, which are available separately.

The STROFT LEADER SPOOL SYSTEM is supplied without leader spools.
