STONFO HAIR COMPACTOR

GATHER HAIR AND FIBRES INTO NEAT BUNCHES FOR EASY TYING

The STONFO HAIR COMPACTOR allows you to gather natural hair, hackle fibres and synthetic materials such as craft fur into compact bunches directly inside a material clamp. This makes it easier to tie them in as tails, wings or tufts and reduces the risk of individual fibres falling out when you remove them from the clamp.

SPECIALLY SHAPED FOR EASY, CONTROLLED HANDLING

Using the tool is simple: once you've secured the fibres in a material clamp and trimmed them if necessary, insert the narrow central tab of the HAIR COMPACTOR between the clamp jaws. Slide it sideways to bring the fibres together into a neat, compact bunch.

The material remains securely held in the clamp while being gathered, making it easier to grip and tie onto the hook afterwards. This is particularly useful with fine hackle fibres, soft natural hair and synthetic fibres, saving you the trouble of rearranging and gathering loose materials by hand.

PRACTICAL ACCESSORY FOR DIFFERENT MATERIAL CLAMPS

The STONFO HAIR COMPACTOR can be used with various material clamps whenever you need to gather fibres neatly before removing and tying them in. A small, thoughtfully designed fly-tying tool that makes working with fine materials and delicate fly patterns easier.
