A whip finisher makes it much easier to tie the head knot used to finish the artificial fly. The flexible side arm of the WHIP FINISHER from stonfo keeps the fly-tying thread under tension when winding the knot around the hook and prevents it from jumping over. In addition, the WHIP FINISHER has an anatomical soft touch handle, which makes it very comfortable to use. An instruction manual is included.

The CONICAL KNOT FINISHER SET from stonfo is used to attach the finishing knot in form of a half hitch to your artificial fly. Especially for rather voluminous flies, the hollow tips are very practical, as you can free the hook eye by pushing back the construction material and neatly attach the head knot behind the hook eye or head bead. The CONICAL KNOT FINISHER SET consists of a plastic handle and three interchangeable attachments with tip diameters of 1.5 -2.2 and 3.0 mm. Due to the conical shape of the tips, the tying thread slides effortlessly onto the hook. The thin tip is suitable for tying the head knot of smaller fly patterns, while the large attachment is suitable for streamers or nymphs with a head bead. Instructions for use are included.

The THREADER from basic fly fishing has a wire loop that allows you to easily pull the tying yarn through the line guide of the bobbin holder. A clever detail is the hole at the back of the handle, so that you can also use this tying tool to attach the end knot to your artificial flies in the form of a half hitch. The hexagonal cross-section of the handle means that the THREADER will stay exactly where you put it down, even on uneven surfaces, without rolling away.

The closing knot is indispensable especially to tie dry flies as it is not possible to use any kind of glue because it would compromise the buoyancy.
