The EZ PINS from hotfly are holding pins for attaching beads, weights and similar fly tying materials of tungsten, brass or glass to your fly imitations. This way, all beads and balls with a corresponding hole can be tied on the hook, even if they cannot be pushed directly onto the hook. The flat head at the end of the EZ PIN holds the threaded bead or ball firmly. You can also fix the bead with a drop of super glue to prevent it from turning. Simply angle the EZ PIN behind the mounted bead, which is easy due to the comparatively soft wire, and tie the protruding part of the pin on the hook shank. The eccentric attachment of weights makes it easy to tie jig nymph patterns, for example, even without special hooks. But also with streamer patterns, the eccentric attachment of eyes or weights to the head can provide better balance and more attractive movement in the water. Each pack contains 10 EZ PINS with a diameter of 0.8 mm and a length of 25 mm, and you can choose between gold and silver.
