Every cape has a large number of evenly grown and rather long feathers of different sizes, which are rather slender in shape. The feathers have only a few fluffy fibres, are very flexible and can be wrapped wonderfully around the hook shank without breaking. The fibres of the feathers are very dense, rather stiff and are suitable for many applications and techniques in fly tying, also for parachutes and palmer. The COCK CAPES PRO TYER are gently dyed in Italy according to hotfly's specifications, giving them a lightfast, very natural colouring without sacrificing the flexibility and durability of the feathers. We offer these cock capes in the most popular colours, which you can use to tie a variety of different fly patterns. The black grizzly colouring looks very natural in combination with the more discreet basic colours, whereas very beautiful contrasts are created with the more striking colours. For the "white natural uv" colour variant, the natural colouring has been retained and the feathers have been given UV-active properties.
