The Cortland SINK TIP TYPE 6 is an extremely balanced fly line, easy to use and delicate in the presentation of your artificial flies. Its profile and coating material are virtually the same as Cortland's 444 PEACH WF, except that the SINK TIP TYPE 6 has a sinking tip.
The 3m long sinking tip has a sink rate of 6-7ips, or 15-18cm per second to make even your weightless flies sink quickly. The remaining part of the fly line is floating and mint green in colour and is 24.5m long for a total length of 27.5m.
The coating is soft and flows very well between the rod guide, and it is also not afraid of colder waters. At the end of the line there is a micro loop for easy connection to the leader.
The WF (weight forward) profile allows you to make long and precise casts even in a headwind.
