When you make a perfect cast while fly fishing, you can feel it even before the line and fly touch the water. With the FEEL series of fly lines developed by Vision, you will have this sensation more often from now on.
The FEEL 90 is an easy-to-cast all-round fly line with a relatively compact 9 metre head and a classic WF profile. The weight of the head lies slightly above the specified Aftma class, so you can already load the fly rod well with just a little line out. This means that you need less false casts to present your fly at longer distances. This fly line is also ideal for casting in situations where you don't have a lot of space available. Moreover, this fly line is best suited for water-anchored casts such as roll casts and various spey casts. Thanks to the not too long front taper, the head has enough power to cast streamers as well as long leaders, such as those used for dry fly fishing. This fly line has a so-called handling line between the head and thin running line, which grades the transition more evenly, making the line a little more tolerant and forgiving of the odd casting error. This fly lines lie wonderfully stretched on the water, giving you direct contact and a good feel for the fly.
The 30 m long line has a dark olive-coloured tip, which makes it more inconspicuous, especially on smaller and clearer waters. The rest of the head section is a highly visible yellow colour, and the running line is white. The colour change from head to running line makes it very easy to find the optimum point for loading your fly rod. The FEEL 90 floats reliably even during longer drifts, making it easy to control and mend this fly line. In addition, it has factory-welded loops at both ends, into which the backing and leader can be easily looped. For easier identification, the line weight is clearly printed on the front loop.
