The feathers of Hotfly's CDC EVO SELECTED are thick and of excellent quality. Thanks to their length you can easily work them with the special hare clips to make the split threads. The barb, which is also quite long, also makes all other tying techniques very easy.
The EVO selection contains 18 different colours and among them there are 4 fluorescent colours, thanks to which you can have the maximum visibility of your dry fly in any light condition.
The natural characteristics of the CDC (cul de canard) make it extremely floaty and this is why it is mainly used to tie dry flies, but not only. It is often used by fly tiers to tie wet flies and nymphs.
