With the LAXA 3.0 wading boot, Guideline presents the third generation of this popular model. And compared to the previous model, a number of innovations and improvements have also been incorporated here, first and foremost the newly developed midsole, which not only enables very comfortable walking, but also has a supporting and stabilising effect.

The LAXA 3.0 is also available with two different outsoles, a classic felt sole or, in this case, a rubber sole with spikes. The rubber compound of the sole is already very grippy and, in combination with the pre-mounted tungsten spikes, these wading shoes give you excellent grip and a secure step on a variety of wet and slippery surfaces along rivers, lakes and on the coast. Rubber soles are also the first choice on all those waters where felt soles are banned due to the spread of invasive species.

The upper material is made from a robust and hard-wearing 900D polyester fabric and has not been DWR-coated, meaning it is PFAS-free. The current version of the LAXA 3.0 has also been redesigned in terms of colour in a subtle, unobtrusive dark grey graphite shade.

Additional reinforcement has been incorporated at the critical points in the front area and at the heel, which improves the strength and rigidity of the wading boot and thus provides more protection and greater comfort, especially when wading, as the wading boot retains its shape even under load and does not press on the toes or heel. The lower part of the wading boot has been reinforced with an all-round elasticated band that provides optimum protection for the fabric of the wading boot against sharp edges and sharp stones.

Eyelets in the form of textile loops are attached to the instep of the LAXA 3.0, while the shaft has two pairs of speed lacing hooks. This wading boot can be opened wide for easy donning and doffing, even with neoprene booties. A practical textile loop is also attached to the upper rear edge, making it even easier to put on.

Thanks to the closed-cell foam inner material, the boot offers a comfortable fit, remains extremely light at only 1260 grams (in size US 10) and hardly absorbs any water, so it doesn't get any heavier when wading. This makes even long days on the water and long walks very comfortable, as the wading boot does not put any additional strain on you. Moreover, the boot also dries very quickly.

All in all, the LAXA 3.0 is a very comfortable wading boot for many applications where the terrain is not too challenging.
