In this pack you will find 2 sheets of glitter fly foam in the dimension 150 x 80mm. This special 2mm thick foam has one normal side and one side coated with glitter, which shimmers and reflects attractively due to the incident light and thus can attract the curiosity of fish.
POLYCELON DELUXE from hotfly is a foam material with very large air chambers. On the one hand, this makes the material float very high and gives your artificial flies excellent buoyancy properties. For example, segmentations of bodies, abdomens and extended bodies can be formed very nicely, as the material adapts very well. POLYCELON DELUXE is available in many great and proven colours and two different material thicknesses of 2 mm and 3 mm. In each package you will find one Polycelon sheet in the dimensions 140 x 90 mm.
The PRECUT MICRO FLY FOAM STRANDS from hotfly are pre-cut strips of foam sheets with dimensions of 2mm x 2mm and a length of 95mm. In each package you will find 27 strips. With the foam strips you can increase the buoyancy of your fly patterns, for example by wrapping them around the hook leg to form the body. But also antennae, legs of hoppers, beetles or Chernobyl Ants can be reproduced perfectly with these foam strips. And you can also use the PRECUT MICRO FLY FOAM STRANDS to replace the sighting aid of your dry flies usually made of tufts of Antron yarn and thus increase the buoyancy of your dry flies at the same time.
Foam is a very floating synthetic material. With it you can tie imitations of large insects (grasshoppers, beetles, etc..) including the famous Chernobyl Ant.
And also used for to tie the wings of Parachute, going to replace the tuft of polypropylene. This allows the dry fly to anchor better to the surface of the water, preventing it from sinking even when the artificial fly is in particularly animated currents.
To make the best use of it, you just need to cut out the foam sheets according to your needs, to do so there are also special shaped pliers, and fix it to the hook with the tying thread.
