The FLY TYING MARKER FELT PEN by hotfly is a waterproof permanent marker for colouring natural and artificial fly-tying materials. The alcohol-based paint used is low-odour, light-resistant, dries quickly and does not smudge. The combination of FLY TYING MARKER FELT PEN and the basic chenille from the Custom Chenille System is ideal. The two different tips of the marker make application easier.

The CCS CACTUS UV CHENILLE by hotfly is a classic chenille with flash fibres that stick out when tied in. Hence the reference to the cactus in the name. This chenille variant is characterised above all by the UV-active fibres. The range of applications for this chenille is very broad. The variants with the shorter fibres can be used very well for tying the bodies and thoraxes of dry flies, nymphs and emergers. But this chenille material is also suitable for smaller worms. The variants with the longer fibres, on the other hand, give your streamer volume so that you can form very nice silhouettes. But also flashy stillwater flies can be realised very well with these variants, as well as more special patterns such as egg flies. The CCS CACTUS UV CHENILLE is also part of hotfly's clever Custom Chenille System (CCS), which allows you to dye different chenille materials in different colours to suit your individual needs, so there are no limits to your creativity at the fly tying vise.

FLOATING MICROCHENILLE from hotfly is a floating chenille, and due to its properties, it is particularly suitable for tying bodies and thoraxes of dry flies and other patterns such as terrestrials, which need corresponding buoyancy in the water. With its 0.8mm you can use this chenille for tying filigree fly patterns also. Furthermore, this chenille is also suitable for the construction of extended bodies. The buoyancy of the FLOATING MICROCHENILLE can also be an advantage for imitations of worms or other stimulating flies, where the appendages and extremities should play as lively as possible in the water. Especially in still waters, the buoyancy of this chenille can breathe life into the various fly patterns. In combination with head beads, jig hooks or other weights you can tie very interesting and creative fly patterns that move very attractively, look extremely lively and are therefore extremely seductive even to sluggish fish. The FLOATING MICROCHENILLE is available in a wide range of great colours, from eye-catching stimulant colours to more subdued and natural shades. You'll find a 200cm strand in each pack.

This series of fly tying materials is mainly used to tie streamers, although in smaller sizes it can also be used to tie large nymphs. Excluding chenille, which has very sober colors, the rest of the fly tying material is very bright and once it comes into contact with sunlight it creates many flashes that are able to attract the fish even from far away.
