The Standard T-Rex is equipped with a table vice that ensures excellent stability during fly tying. This stability is also very useful to better support the many accessories available in the Standard line that will greatly facilitate the fly tying.
The T-Rex fork can accommodate 2 clamps at the same time in order to have 2 anchor points on the hook curvature. The result is a very tough grip on extremely large hooks without necessarily having to tighten too vigorously the jaws of the clamp, with the risk of damaging hooks that on this size could be very expensive. The clamps can rotate freely 360 degrees and this rotation is adjustable through a clutch, you can also rotate the hook perfectly on its axis. The large number of joints present provide numerous possibilities for adjustment.
To facilitate the rotation of the head, the crank handle can be purchased separately.
The STANDARD T-REX is mainly made of steel and aluminium. These materials guarantee strength and lightness. Thanks to the modularity of the Cottarelli vises, it is possible to remove all the upper part (fork + clamps) and mount the short fork or the Shuttle clamp (available separately).
