It is generally thought that to reach long distances you have to use powerful fly fishing rods combined with heavy fly line but through the ICS (Italian casting style) casting technique you can make long and fast casts with very light fly line, of course to do this you need the right equipment.

The SMALL CREEK 7'6 #4 by Loomis & Franklin has a fast and progressive fishing action, this allows you to make very long and fast casts while maintaining a remarkable precision and delicacy presentation. Being a very short rod you will be able to fish in a relaxed way even in small mountain streams.

The IDEAL GA480 reel line 3/5 of hotfly is made of die-cast aluminium and has a large arbor spool, the drag is adjustable.

The CLASSIC DT fly line is specifically designed for precise casts and delicate presentation and thanks to the double taper profile you can use it from both sides, so if it wears out after several uses you can unroll it and rewind it backwards to use the half still unused. Backing and fly line are already spooled on the reel.
