Brass head streamers are medium-ballasted bait, used to target trout and other predatory fish in fairly slow running waters at not too great depths. These streamers mimic small prey such as bullhead, minnow, small trout, and so on.
With these streamers it is possible to fish in different ways. A very promising method is to launch the streamer sideways to the other bank, giving a bit of line to let it drag downstream, and then recover it with jerky movements. Usually the fish attacks the bait abruptly in these moments.
In addition to the classic brass head streamers such as Alexandra or Matuka, we have a large assortment of modern models, whose effectiveness has been increased by the use of innovative construction materials.
