The second, specially developed tip section, which is also included with the HYDROPSYCHE PRECISION SENSYTIP XUL, is based on Soldarini's Sensytip technology and forms the heart of this innovative rod series. This thinner Sensytip section has a full carbon insert in the upper part of the tip, which always gives you unrivalled sensitivity and absolute control over the drift of your nymphs when offering them with the European Nymphing Technique. With this extremely sensitive rod you can successfully cast and present even the smallest nymphs on the finest leaders.
The medium-fast, light and very slim blank has an inconspicuous matt black finish and is fitted with single food guides except for the running guide. The half-wells handle is made of flor grade cork and reinforced with cork composite inserts in critical areas. The down locking reel seat of the HYDROPSYCHE PRECISION SENSYTIP XUL in 10’6’’ #0-2-3 ensures a better balance between rod and reel. It is made of high quality 6061 aluminium for maximum weight savings and has a visually appealing carbon inlay. The fighting butt allows you to guide the fly rod more effortlessly. A smart detail are the two length markings on the handpiece which allow you to quickly and easily estimate the size of the fish caught. This fly rod is delivered in a comparted rod tube.
