The entire series of PURE EQUIPE fly rods from JMC is, as the name suggests, closely related to, and based on the original Pure rod series from JMC. The special series PURE EQUIPE was designed in cooperation with the team of the French world champions in fly fishing 2017 and adapted to the modern and extremely effective techniques of fly fishing. Just 2 years later, the French team was once again crowned world champions in fly fishing and the PURE EQUIPE rod series was part of the game. So, this rod series was not only co-developed by world champions, but also contributed to winning a world championship in fly fishing.
It is obvious that the development of the PURE EQUIPE rod series was based on the Pure rod series from JMC, as this outstanding rod series is already designed for the highest quality and performance. This series of fly rods incorporates the entire know-how of the JMC brand in the construction of first-class fly rods. Enriched with the concentrated innovative power of the world champions in fly fishing, this fly rod models of the special series PURE EQUIPE are perfectly adapted to fly fishing in fishing ponds, lakes, and reservoirs.
The three models, specially designed for fly fishing in Stillwater, are 4-piece and fitted for line classes #6, #7 and #8, as they are typically used in this specific type of fly fishing. All three models are 10 foot (305 cm) long and are therefore particularly suitable for casting at longer distances, as is often necessary on these waters in order to reach the fish on their spots. With their progressive, medium-fast action, they are also suitable for both the classic overhead cast and the special Froller cast, which is casting technique of choice when you don't have much room behind you for the back cast.
The full-wells rod handle of all PURE EQUIPE fly rods for Stillwater fishing is made of first-class cork and has a fighting butt with a protective ending. The other components such as the aluminium reel seat with carbon insert, the SIC guide rings and the single leg running guides are also absolutely top quality. All PURE EQUIPE fly rods are delivered in a Cordura rod tube with inner compartments.
