With the IMERSION series, JMC offers great fly rods to beginners in fly fishing, making it doubly easy to get started in the wonderful world of fly fishing. On the one hand, these fly rods are available at a very attractive price that is affordable for every wallet. However, the materials used, and the quality of the workmanship can easily compete with much more expensive fly rods.
On the other hand, the fly rods of the IMERSION series have a medium-fast action, which is particularly suitable for beginners and fly fishermen without much experience in casting. But the experienced fly fisherman will be pleasantly surprised as well how comfortable these fly rods are to cast and fish with.
THE DIFFERENT MODELS
The available models are all 4-piece for easy transport and cover a wide range of waters, target fish and different areas of use, so you will find the right fly rod for your needs:
9' - # 4/5: A universal fly rod that will suit you perfectly when fishing small and medium sized waters. The cigar shaped handle allows you to grip the rod with the index finger resting on top and thus make very precise casts. This rod is equally suitable for fly fishing with dry flies and classic nymph fishing. But also, smaller streamers can be cast and guided very well with this fly rod.
9' - # 8/9: Designed for line classes #8/9, this fly rod is predestined as a predator rod for pike, huchen and co. Large, heavy flies can be cast perfectly with it. The full wells handle with fighting butt ensures that you can exert enough pressure on the fish during the fight. Even trophy sized fish will not bring this robust fly rod to its knees.
10' - # 4/5: Due to the larger lever, this 10-foot-long fly rod is especially suitable on larger waters for fishing with dry flies, nymphs and smaller streamers. The longer rod also makes it easier to guide the flies and control the drift optimally. The cigar shaped handle allows for a comfortable index finger rest on top of the handle, so this rod gives you plenty of feel.
10' - # 6/7: Ideal for fly fishing in Stillwater such as lakes and ponds, but also for fly fishing for sea trout on the coast. The combination of slightly higher line classes and longer fly rod allows you to achieve enormous casting distances and also present your fly where the fish are. Full wells handle and fighting butt support you in long casts and in the fight for big fish.
All fly rods of the IMERSION series are built on a matt, anthracite-coloured 30T carbon fibre blank. The rod handles are made of AA-grade cork with protective rubberised cork ends. The milled uplock aluminium reel seat has a carbon fibre insert, the guide ring has a SIC insert and is black like the rest of the single leg running guides.
IMERSION fly rods are delivered in a fabric rod sleeve as well as a practical rod tube made of cordura with features a built-in bag for the fly reel, so that you can transport the fly rod with mounted fly reel.
