Fly fishing for large predatory fish in freshwater promises pure adrenaline. The direct contact with the fish as well as the vehement bites and wild fights are incredibly spectacular. In order to discover this exciting way of fly fishing, JMC has developed the FURIOUS rod series, which has been specially designed for hunting large and fighting predatory fish.
The matt black blank of these 4-piece fly rods is made of 35T carbon fibre and has enormous power reserves despite its lightness. This allows you to drill even large and enduring predatory fish skilfully and confidently. The three available models are 9 foot (274 cm) long, have a medium-fast, progressive action and are designed for line classes #8, #9 and #10. This makes the FURIOUS fly rods ideally suited to handle virtually all fly patterns and fly lines for fly fishing for freshwater predatory fish. Due to their pleasant handling, these fly rods can also be "misused" very well for other, special applications. For example, the #8 fly rod of the FURIOUS series is ideal for successful fly fishing for big carp as it is perfectly capable for taming these powerhouses.
Suitable for fishing for predatory fish, these robust fly rods are equipped with Full Wells rod handles as well as fighting butts made of EVA in camo look, so that they offer a proper grip in any situation. The reel seat is made of anodised aluminium and adds a colourful accent. In addition, the FURIOUS fly rods are fitted with SIC guide rings and durable single leg running guides.
All fly rods in the FURIOUS series are supplied in a practical green Cordura rod tube with internal compartments.
