This rod series was developed by JMC in cooperation with French as well as British experts, because this fly-fishing technique has a long tradition on the British Isles, and the corresponding know-how has been incorporated into this rod series.

The rod series BOOSTER consists of a total of 4 models and is designed for the line classes #6 to #8 in order to cover the whole spectrum of fly fishing in Stillwater. The two rod models with a length of 9'6'' (289 cm) have a rod blank with a very fast action and are equipped with anti-tangle rings that allow effective casts at long distances. This allows you to cast more voluminous flies and reach the fish even when they are not close to the bank. The blanks of the 10 foot (305 cm) long fly rods of the BOOSTER series, on the other hand, have a medium-fast, progressive action and thus facilitate the casting of long-belly fly lines, which are often used in Stillwater fishing.

The features of this affordable fly rod series are impressive. The light grey blank of all models is 4-sectioned and made of a modern 40T carbon fibre. The Full Wells rod handle is made of AAA cork and, like the Fighting Butt, has protective edges made of rubberised cork. The up-lock aluminium reel seat has a carbon insert. The fly rods of the BOOSTER series are delivered in a blue Cordura rod tube with inner compartments.
