Description

THE PERFECT PREDATOR FLY ROD FOR FATIGUE-FREE FISHING

The LPX PREDATOR single handed fly rods from Guideline have been specifically designed for fishing big and powerful predators, with a very well-balanced setup that won't tire you out even when casting for hours on end. These fly rods have a fast action and a flex curve that makes it easy for you to cast and control large, bushy and windy flies. All models of the LPX PREDATOR rod series are equipped with an extended full-wells handle made of first-class cork, which is complemented by a piece of high density foam at the front and on the fighting butt for additional durability.

This rod series is uncompromisingly designed for robustness and features high-quality components adapted to the somethines harsh requirements. For example, the stripping guides used have extra-large diameters to prevent problems with line tangle. For the higher line classes, snake guides were used , which provide increased durability. The individual fly rods in this series cover the entire spectrum of fly fishing for predatory fish, from perch to trophy sized pike.

THE INDIVIDUAL MODELS

C.A.P M4.0™ TECHNOLOGY

With the C.A.P M4.0™ Guideline sets new standards in the construction of high performance fly rods. The carbon fibres in the mats from which the blanks are rolled are arranged at different angles to each other (Complex Axial Pattern; C.A.P). This ensures enormous strength and stability in all directions. The combination with unidirectional carbon fibres, which all run parallel in the longitudinal direction, maximises the strength of the rod blank in this direction. M4.0 ™, then again, is the name given to the special resin used to glue the carbon mats and fibres together. The special properties of this resin ensure that the gaps in the carbon fabric are filled more effectively than with conventional resins. On the one hand, this guarantees greater durability and, on the other, reduces the amount of resin needed so that the blanks can be built lighter than ever before with the same strength.
