Fly line LAGO EXTREME CAST U-SHAPE sft - WF

The LAGO EXTREME CAST U-SHAPE fly lines are technically very similar to the lago extreme cast series. They differ mainly in the fact that they create a U-shaped belly (U-SHAPE) when sinking and this allows you to present the fly very deep during the retrieve. This fly line is perfect for use in combination with flies such as boobies, because you will be able to sink them very deep during the retrieve and during breaks they will naturally rise to the surface thanks to the polystyrene. This allows you to effectively fish several layers of depth without having to constantly change fly lines in search of fish.

With LAGO EXTREME CAST you can cast overhead to reach long distances, both from the shore and from the boat. The 44-foot belly, weighing in at 25 grams, makes this line perfect for use with both one-handed and switch fly rods.

The state-of-the-art line coating makes it glide extremely smoothly through the rod rings, greatly aiding you on long casts.

On both ends there is a micro-loop that facilitates the connection with the leader and backing, while on the tip micro-loop the technical characteristics of the fly line are printed for quick identification of the model to be used.

At 3 metres from the tip there is a fluorescent-coloured, about 50 centimetres long hang marker. This is very useful for knowing exactly how much fly line is still in the water during the retrieve. It is not uncommon for fish to chase the fly close to the boat or the shore, and being able to stop the fly at the right moment often encourages the fish to attack. Without a hang marker, there is a risk that you will over-recruit your lure and miss the best time to strike.
