The LAGO EXTREME CAST TOP SECRET fly lines are technically identical to the lago extreme cast fly lines, they differ mainly in that they have a unique olive colour, so that anglers close to you don't realise what sinking rate you are using. This system comes in handy almost exclusively in lake fly fishing competitions. The hang marker is, however, fluorescent orange in colour and therefore highly visible. This applies to the 4 sinking versions (#6/7 fast intermediate - #6/7 sink 3 - #6/7 sink 5 - #6/7 sink 7), while for the floating version (#6/7 floating) the running line is olive green and the rest of the fly line is fluorescent orange without the hang marker.

With LAGO EXTREME CAST TOP SECRET you can cast overhead to reach long distances, both from the shore and from the boat. The 44-foot belly, weighing in at 25 grams, makes this line perfect for use with both one-handed and switch fly rods.
The state-of-the-art line coating makes it glide extremely smoothly through the rod rings, greatly aiding you on long casts.
On both ends there is a micro-loop that facilitates the connection with the leader and backing, while on the tip micro-loop the technical characteristics of the fly line are printed for quick identification of the model to be used.
In the 4 sinking versions there is a fluorescent about 50 centimetres long hang marker at 3 metres from the tip. This is very useful for knowing exactly how much fly line is still in the water during the retrieve. It is not uncommon for fish to chase the fly close to the boat or the shore, and being able to stop the fly at the right moment often encourages the fish to attack. Without a hang marker, there is a risk that you will over-recruit your lure and miss the best time to strike.
