UNIVERSAL ROD AND REEL COMBO
The rod and reel combo KAITUM TROUT from Guideline is designed for beginners as well as for advanced fly fishers. The selected products are of high quality and well matched. This combination of fly rod, fly reel, fly line and leader can be used universally. This rod and reel combo is available in two different line classes:
- Line class #5: ideally suited for fine fly fishing with the dry fly but also for classic nymph fishing. Even small, unweighted streamers can be cast and guided perfectly.
- Line class #6: if you rather fish with large, heavy nymphs as well as larger streamers. Excellent if you often have to cast in windy conditions.
Backing, fly line and leader are already spooled on the reel. This way, you can get started straight away with this rod and reel combo when it arrives at your home. Unpack it, go to the water, attach the fly and you can catch your first fish.
The rod and reel combo consists of:
- a KAITUM fly rod in 9' length, with medium-fast action, excellent balance and line class of your choice #5 or #6. The half-wells handle is made of cork and the aluminium reel seat has a black insert. The practical 4-section design also makes the rod very easy to transport.
- a FAVO 46 fly reel with large arbor spool, lightweight design and reliable reel drag.
- a KAITUM WF fly line, with 8.5 m head, which loads the rod very well and is particularly suitable for fly fishing at short to medium distances. The line class is matched to the fly rod.
- a 9' long conical leader - 3X/0,20mm
- sufficient backing
The rod and reel combo KAITUM TROUT is delivered in a very practical rod carry tube where you can store the fly rod with the attached fly reel.
