The ALUSILI Coffee Small fly box from Hotfly Superb is a fly box made of aluminium in the classic English style, which surprises with its modern interior in the form of two silicone inserts with a total of 64 slots in both shells.
Silicone offers a number of advantages as it holds your artificial flies very securely, does not wear out over time and does not deform even at higher temperatures. The recess in front of each row of slots also makes this fly box very suitable for dry flies, as the hackle fibres are not bent.
Thanks to the high strength of aluminium, this fly box features reduced material thickness without sacrificing stability and durability. This also makes it comparatively light, so that the ALUSILI Small fly box weighs only 70 grams. The surface is anodised and finished in a discreet shade of brown. With its dimensions of 92 x 60 x 23 mm, this compact fly box is primarily designed for small and medium-sized fly patterns.
Due to the high-quality, precise and accurately fitting manufacture of the two half shells and the inner edge, this fly box closes tightly and securely. The hinge integrated into the shells runs continuously over one long side and closes the fly box neatly, two longitudinal ribs on the edges of the opposite side of the fly box facilitate opening.
